Family Photos :: Jones Family

 

I was lucky enough to spend a little time with the Jones family on a beautiful afternoon on Balboa Island.  I have know this family for years and have loved watching them grow.  We did their shoot last year at the same spot, but Balboa Island has so many different nooks and backdrops, that we have a fresh batch new photos.  I can't wait to see which photo they choose for their Christmas card.  

Family Photos :: Pyle Family

I cannot handle the cuteness of little Ethan!! Ethan's mommy and I were sorority sisters at ASU and I had such a great time catching up with her and taking photos of her adorable family!  As I edited these photos, I couldn't help but smile at each photo of little Ethan!  He was such a pro, busting out a giant smile whenever I asked him to.  The only time we had any issues getting him to pose was when we put him on the grass with the leaves...he wouldn't stop trying to eat them!  See below!  I just love the happy vibes you get as you look at each of these photos.   

We shot these photos at the Jeffery Open Space Trail in Irvine, CA.

Baby Photos :: Sophie

This is cute lil 6 month old Sophie!  We took these photos on a hot afternoon in Louisiana.   The warm weather allowed us to take them outside using crisp natural lighting without Sophie getting too cold.  She was a little fussy at first but her mom, aunt, and grandma did an amazing job making her laugh and smile.  They live in the country and I think the styling of these photos really captures that!  So cute!

Baby Photos :: Zoii

Meet cute and tiny, two month old, Zoii!  When it comes to the timing of taking baby photos, the age of two months can tend to be "difficult." For most of the shoot, Zoii was not too happy, but her parents did a great job keeping calm and getting her comfortable and eventually she was fast asleep.  So here are a few of the non-crying photos we got.  I also included a couple of photos that Zoii's grandmother joined us for and one crying shot because it was too cute not to share!  We took these photos in the gorgeous mile high city of Denver, CO.

Wedding :: Dave and Dana

In July, I was lucky enough to be able to take some photos at my Uncle Dave's wedding.  It was held at Five Crowns in Corona del Mar.  The wedding was small and intimate.  It was elegant yet it had a comfortableness and warmth that made it feel like it was in someones backyard. The flowers were gorgeous and everywhere; even a few flowers at each place setting!   The night was fun and I was so glad to have been a part of it.
