Since moving to Texas a little over a year ago, this was my first official shoot and it definitely was a Texas shoot...barn and all!  We took these photos on a friend's property near his home.  Travis was a good sport and indulged in all of his mom's photo ideas.  The whole family came along and it was a fun afternoon for all of us.  Our shoot was in Cypress, Texas.

Engagement Session :: Annie and Brad

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be *home* in beautiful Orange County and got to shoot some engagement pics for my wonderful friend Annie and her fiance Brad.  We took these photos in Dana Point Harbor on their boat and the surrounding dock.  Annie picked clothes that went perfectly with our location.  The groom-to-be loves to fish and it was his idea to put the ring on a hook!  I am loving the overall look of this shoot!   It was a fun evening.  Can't wait to attend their wedding next summer :-)  

The photo below is my favorite outtake.  So cute I had to share.  Isn't she gorgeous?

Family Photos :: Pedrotti Family

Love, love, love.  I just love these photos of the Pedrotti Family.  Their active one year old was always on the move, so this was definitely an active shoot for me, but their 9 year old helped out a lot and I'm really pleased with a lot of the shots we got.  I just love that warm light at sunset!   We took these photos at the Jeffery Open Space Trail in Irvine, CA.

Note: We did these photos way back in November for their Christmas cards.  I always like to wait a while to post Christmas card photos, just to be sure that everyone they were sending them to already received them.  Well January is flying by and I'm really late posting them, but better late than never!

Talk about great photo styling!  The perfectly coordinated Miller family and I had a great shoot on a cool Irvine afternoon.  Their smily little one and good doggy made for so many great shots that it was hard to choose which ones to share.

We did this shoot at Mason Park in Irvine, California.

Newborn Photos :: Claire

Meet Precious little Claire and her adorable brother.  With two little ones, a newborn shoot can be stressful, but we had fun and got some really sweet shots.

I was lucky enough to spend a little time with the Jones family on a beautiful afternoon on Balboa Island.  I have know this family for years and have loved watching them grow.  We did their shoot last year at the same spot, but Balboa Island has so many different nooks and backdrops, that we have a fresh batch new photos.  I can't wait to see which photo they choose for their Christmas card.
